I love the great outdoors. If I'm not working or at home with my family, you can find me hiking, camping, skiing or fishing. I'm especially fond of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) in Northern Minnesota. Even outside of my professional role in design and marketing, the urge to create is one of my greatest passions and I spend much of my free time around home doing woodworking.

When it comes to sports, you can find me rooting for my home state—I'm a Minnesota fan through and through (Go Vikings and Twins!). I love old rock'n'roll music as well as Christian rock artists; some of my favorite acts include Styx, the Steve Miller Band, Boston, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Kutless, Red, Mercy Me and 3rd Day.

​A few authors that I enjoy reading are Ted Dekker, Tom Clancy, Stephen King and John Grisham. Although I don't watch much TV, I enjoy comedy shows like "The Office" and "Modern Family," and movies like "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation," "Father of the Bride," and "Meet the Parents." When I'm hungry, I love steak, Chicken Marsala, spinach, crab legs and any kind of seafood.
